- 2025 Socratic Art Intensive -

This fun intensive week (M,W,F) equips beginner and intermediate students (13–Adult) with the tools to create and appreciate quality art that communicates God's attributes. Intended for those who wish to expand their artistic abilities, to be exposed to different media, and to explore artistic themes and philosophies in community, this Socratic intensive focuses on the creative process while highlighting a new media each day. Through this camp we seek to cultivate a love and understanding of how and why we make art through technique-developing activities, creative instruction, and Socratic discussions which explore the history and philosophy of virtuous art.

July 7, 9, & 11 (12:30–4:30 p.m. - 12:30-3:00 on Friday)

Located in South Huntsville

Day 1: Charcoal & Graphite – Sketching, 3D Form
Day 2: Watercolor – Composition, Perspective, Color Theory
Day 3: Oil Pastel – Material Rendering, Basic Figure Drawing

- 2025 Introductory Art Camp -

In just two days (Tues. & Thurs.), this camp provides young artists (ages 9-12 recommended) with the tools and perspective to create and appreciate quality art while avoiding bad habits. Through this camp we seek to inspire students to mirror the creativity of our Creator in all they create with backyard nature observations, fun activities, introduction to famous works, and personally drawn creations focusing on meaning, illustration, and technique.

July 8 & 10 (1:00–4:00 p.m.)
