2026 Summer Art Studio

With options for all ages, abilities, and interests, Azalia Studios invites you to enroll!

All Studio Classes will meet on Thursdays for six weeks from June 18th to July 23rd. All events will be held at my home in Jones Valley, Huntsville. Material cost is included in all prices.

Summer Art Intensive (14+)

This single-day event equips participants with the tools to form good artistic habits and foster their love for creativity through drawing lessons on composition, color theory, and more!

Foundations of Art Studio (9-13)

With artistic activities and outdoor exploration, this class exposes students to basic drawing concepts with a fun and simplified approach.

Inspiration & Virtue Socratic Studio (14+)

Centered around engaging discussions, this class investigates the history and philosophy of virtuous art while actively exploring and exercising the gift of inspiration through creative projects.

Drawing & Value Media Studio (14+)

From graphite pencil to charcoal, this class uses various value (black, grey, white) media (the material/mode for an artistic creation) to study essential artistic concepts including form, perspective, composition, and technique.

Color Theory & Media Studio (14+)

This class explores the expansive world of color theory through various color media (the material/mode for an artistic creation) including color pencils, pastels, and oil paint.

From stick-figures and movement to muscle composition and smile lines, this class marvels at God's creation of the human body through drawing exercises, live models, and illustrations from masters such as Bridgman and Civardi. (no nudity)
